System Of Souls is a first-person puzzle-platformer in which you, as a player, will have to go through a series of rooms with different types of challenges. All this while you are accompanied by an Artificial Intelligence with a sharp sense of humor that will explain how you should proceed.
In 2155, humanity is forced to transfer its essence into robotic bodies in order to survive. You will embody the last cyborg with a soul inside who does not remember who he is as he travels through the facilities of the corporation that controls this technology.
The default System Of Souls's control system requires a keyboard and a mouse, but from the configuration menu, you can choose a controller if you prefer. Thanks to the tutorial, which will take place during the first few minutes, you will discover how to interact with all the game elements. You will learn to press buttons, collect cubes, use the "hook," or slow down time. Each of these actions, of course, will be absolutely necessary to make progress.
The advancement of System Of Souls is very similar to that of the "Portal" saga. You will have to complete the puzzles in a room in order to open the door that will lead you to the next one. Some rooms will focus on the platforming part of the game since, in them, you will be required to jump and swing between different surfaces. Others will make you rack your brain with more complex puzzles.
System Of Souls is a game that perfectly combines puzzles and platforming with great graphics. Moreover, it is a title with a very polished finish reminiscent of Valve's proposal, both conceptually and aesthetically.
